NAME: Isako Toyama AGE: seventeen GENDER: femme DESCRIPTION: Isako is a slim, lean kid. She weighs about 8 stone and is only about 5ft5 tall, give or take an inch or so. Her face is pierced. In total, she has twelve of them, but most of the time only wears about five or six, depending what she wants to wear. These include, lip 3x, medusa, septum, bridge, 2x stretching in her bottom lobes and 2 studs on both ears. These suit her and don’t really make her face look crowded, but its up to the person seeing her that can really think what they think about them to themselves. Someone else might have a different opinion.
Iko's got the almost ‘emo/scene/punk’ sense of style; she wears band tees—the ones she can afford—or plain black tees, dressed, mini skirts, skinny jeans or whatever she sees in the shops that she likes. She has one or two three studded pyramid belts that he wears on and off, which are almost in perfect condition—surprisingly. Her chucks are slightly worn and dirty, but also have sharpie markings over them in weird patterns that were more than likely put there a long while ago. The condition of her clothes, both tee shirts and jeans, are semi-new, with only the occasional rip, although her jeans are often drawn on - Iko is quite artistic and can’t help but draw on her jeans when she finds a sharpie.
Iko loves her hair; it’s true. If a person could be vain for their hair, iko would be that person. She’s not stuck up or anything, it’s just the playful ‘my hair is gorgeous, i love it more than you!’ joking type of vain; not the serious ‘oh god go die’ vain. Her hair is cut in the ‘emo/scene’ fashion, and is naturally black - but thick hot pink stripes can be found throughout the thick strands, even though she isn’t a very big fan of hot pink. It’s long, although she cuts it regularly—her main hair is long, her bangs must be the shortest part of her whole hair. Her skin tone is a pale tan, although more pale than anything, and goes well with the black clothing she normally wears. Her eyes are hazel green, often surrounded in black lines of eyeliner to brighten and bring out the greens and browns.
Only two tattoos can be found on her slender body, one on the inside of her lip saying 'cute' and the other on her lower back. A cute little cartoon vampire skull design with ‘13//27’ etched into its skull that she had drawn on one pair of her jeans before that can be found just under his belly button, a few centimeters away from his groin. Her nails are normally go unpainted, but when she gets her hands on a bottle of nail polish they end up painted black.
PERSONALITY: Iko is a normally a sweet girl with a tendency to be slightly secretive, if not a tad bit shy; she’s more outgoing than anything, but she does have her shy moments. She’s normally quiet, only because she has very little to say to the people around her—since she was normally surrounded by judgmental people anyway—but when she gets around peoples he feels he can talk to but still be comfortable, she can hardly shut up. The best way to shut her up is to do something that’ll make her speechless—which is mostly anything, well, anything that will make a difference to her. She does have a sort of anger problem, but it won’t be sparked unless you piss her off; and that can be hard or very easy to do, depending. If you’ve already pissed her off before, or are someone she dislikes for one reason or another, it’ll be very easy but if you’re her friend—lucky you—she’s not one to get angry quickly.
iko just not one to be short tempered, unless she’s already in a bad mood—which happens every once in a while—although sometimes she’ll just do something for the hell of it. Normally he’s quite hyper, in truth, and she’s fairly laid back, even though, at times, she’ll go and be secretive and won’t talk at all. Some think she’s schizophrenic but in truth she’s not, the only mental disorder she’s ever suffering from is bipolar disorder and sometimes depression. Just like everyone else, Iko has her ups and downs. She has respect for everyone until they somehow prove to her that they don’t deserve it—and some people naturally don’t have her respect, including prostitutes, abusive people, Homophobics, and those who tell her what to do. Oh, she hates being told what to do. She’s actually a rather friendly person, you just have to get over her ‘tough’ exterior, because, if you don’t, it won’t get you anywhere with her.
Iko loves to joke around with people, especially those who’ll joke back with her. Just because she’s dresses somewhat different doesn’t mean that her personality can’t match her appearance. Oh, god, don’t think that—if you get her angry, you might as well run and hide. Or dig your own grave. You choose. When she’s angry—which isn’t very often—people probably think that she’s always that way. But her anger hardly lasts long, and it’s a rare occurrence anyway. As unlikely as it seems, Iko does have a shy side. Uncanny, isn’t it? I’d say. But she does, and it’s only noticeable if she’s in one of his ultra-rare bouts of depression, or if she’s around someone she has a crush on. Anyway. Rebellious is another way to describe Iko—a rule breaker. Like most people she’s got a soft side, but you probably figured that. It’s unlikely you’ll ever figure out where that soft side is, but yeah
HISTORY: Born on the 16th of March, 1990, by mother Ami Toyama and father Hisoka. They names her Isako and so her life begins. Isako grew up in a small town named Nisikujo in Japan. Her life was pretty normal, she went to school, had friends, played about, soccer obsessed and so on. Your average kid. Little did anyone know what for a rebel she would turn into when she grew older.
So she turned 14 on the 16th of march, 2004. Her life is prefect. There is nothing wrong with it. She has a family, friends - a roof over head- and everything she could ever wish for but yet she started to act out. Her hair was dark to start out with but she went out and brought some black and pink hair dye and while her parents where at work, she dyed it, all black with an odd pink part and it looked pretty good as well. Her parents got a shock but they got over it pretty quick and started to like it. It just grew on them, you know? She left it them. People at school where quite amazed at it. They liked the change and so did she.
Isako must of been 15 when she got her first piercing done. It was only her lip but her mother flipped. She must of hollered the roof down at least 10 times and even though it left Isako in tears, she didn’t really care what her mother thought. She liked it and she wasn’t going to stop there. She gave it a month, waited for the swelling to go down and went back, got a second hole pierced on the right side of her lip. Snake bite. Well, you could imagine what her mother thought of it. She shouted all sort of swear words at Isako in Japanese, ones she never thought she would hear out of her own mother mouth. So that was two piercing and grounded for the rest of the year.
A couple of months after her 16th birthday, Isako and her classmates organized a trip to France. It was a long trip there but it was a place they all wanted to go so they did and it was nice. She enjoyed it. A month away from her parents and freedom to do what she wanted. Halfway though the holiday, she decided for everyone to call her IKO instead of Isako. NO big deal really, her parents would just take it as a nickname but that’s when became Iko and it would stick for most of her life as well. Just before the end of the holiday and returning back to Japan, one of her friends and Iko walked past a piercing place. It was a small shop just at the end of high street. Looking at all the prices, Iko decided to get something else pierced. Not her lip again but something more dramatic. She decided her septum and went with that. It hurt but it looked good. At the same time, she also got a second hole pierced on the right of her lip, giving it a nice effect.
SAMPLE POST: [different RPG] Nothing else mattered once she slipped into her own world. The real world just seemed like a distant recollection. All the evil and hatred gone. Vanished from her mind like the rubbed out words on a piece of paper. This world. Is was her own. Made up and far from real. A world of magnificence and Allegory where nothing could be mistaken . Everything went her way. No harm could be done and her past just doesn’t seem to exist. That was the main idea for the worlds existence. A way of breaking away from the real one and the images and noises that kept replaying like a broken record in her head. She is the queen, a princess, a child of her own mind's eye. No need to hide in the shadows, shy away from human kind. She could be her true own self. In high spirits, cheery and optimistic. The Sad, dejected feelings bottled away deep down inside of her until the stopper gets pulled out and everything flows back to reality and her dream world vanishes back into the back of her mind and the pull of the real world, worries and the stress makes her forget it until the next time the dust gets blown of it and her mind wanders back into it.
The supple drops of rain fell upon her body as she sat against the mud splattered wall to the north of the Cemetery. Diminutive legs where pulled up to her torso making it seem that she is less significant that she really is. She always felt among equals here. The dead didn’t mock her for who she is, torment her, heave insults at her. Just lay there, soundless , Serene and Departed from the world. She felt dead herself. The soul, sucked away by a black hole where the heart used to sit. All taken by the Male she thought she loved. You can never trust those brutes. They where all the same and only out for one thing. It would be a surprise if she did ever meet one that did care about her feeling, the way she was and what she had been though in the past few years. Distrusting it though, she was to shy to even speak to a creature these days so hiding in the shadows from now on seemed like a great plan.
Grass green orbs looked upwards and into the obscurity. She felt safe here. The shadows of the trees and tomb's seemed to hide her presence. The darkness was where she had been hiding for the past few years and didn't plan to stop at this pleasant time. It was a way of escaping when people came to near to her and her black clothes often made her fit in flawlessly anyway. Like always, her body was clothed with a black undersized skirt, black Corset and that extensive military style coat. Her tresses where down as always, Flaxen with raven and pallid highlights. A usual look for this petite female but far different from anyone else. Escalating upwards, she looked around once again. This place was empty. Not even a bird was around. Maybe its true that the birds can feel the dead and keep away from them? She didn't know as she for sure didn’t have a degree in Animal behaviours, nor a degree in anything really. Taking a few steps away from the wall onto the path, her presence still remained in the shadows of the tombs, only a little of the moon light highlighting her body. Pulling her hat down even further, her eyes protected from the worlds sights, she proceeded farther down the path; heading to no where in particular just following where her legs are taking her. She started to think again, how cool it would be if a person rose from the tombs, like a zombie and even better a vampire. She was aware of the creatures here. Rumours or not. She had heard them and her mind made her believe they are real. She often thought about how it would be being a vampire. Only drinking blood, staying awake all night and sleeping all day. Killing innocent people for blood. Sleeping in a coffin yada, yada, yada. It trailed of as she looked up to the sky, the moon bright, making her green eyes glow and her face paler than flurry.
